Why I Built
This Place.
I'll be honest — I was an idiot with money in my teens, my 20s, and even into my early 30s. I spent money on clothes I only wore once. I wasted money on alcohol, drugs, and going out almost every night. I ignored my credit score, didn't invest, and often neglected taking care of my car and my health.
Don't get me wrong — I had some incredible times and made memories I'll never forget. But looking back, I realize I could have enjoyed life just as much while creating a better financial future for myself.
If I could go back, I wouldn't stop having fun. I would simply balance it better. Save more, invest earlier, take better care of my health — and still enjoy crazy nights with friends and live an exciting life.
That's why I created Save Money University.
My goal is to help younger generations avoid some of the mistakes I made. This website isn't about being perfect. I'm still learning. I still have habits and vices I work on every day. I'm a student of this money game too.
Together, we'll learn how to:
